A truly inspirational book that enlightens everyone on how women in Pakistan are treated. The book did a lot in exposing the male dominated culture of Pakistan and how much needs to be done before it can call itself a truly democratic country. Mukhtar Mai is just one such revelation that makes one wince in pain being inflicted on women in Pakistan. While the male domination continues in all parts of the world, Mukhtar Mai gives the courage and strength to every woman in the world to stand up against violence and punishment for no fault of thyself.
